Today's topic... Drill baby drill! I see it only took Ms. Sarah Palin 30 minutes to change her tune in her speeches from drill baby drill to extract baby extract! What the hell. Just because you change a word (I own a thesaurus as well) doesn't make it smell like a rose. It still stinks. It stinks of corruption, greed, criminality, destruction, devastation, and evil. Anyone who complains about how long it will take future generations to pay off the national dept and misses the consequences oil drilling has caused aught to get their heads out of the gas fumes. It's time to take the bull by the horns and use what we have without hurting the earth or others. Solar, wind, hydro, nuclear, and good old fashioned American ingenuity. If we don't stop hurting the Mother we won't be able to fix the problems. We use her up, or beat her up and we might not see tomorrow at all.HEALTH CARE
Some people have blown this whole health care bill way out of the water. I can not believe I share a country with people who think it's ok to spit on an elected official, or yell out on the floor of the senate. Who puts cross hairs on someone and their family to make a political point? Well Ms. Sarah Palin did. I truly don't know how this will all play out. I am not an economist nor do I pretend to be one like some folks. I have never worked with numbers that large in real life. I trust (because I have to) the people in charge to make sure this makes us a better, healthier nation. I have listened to both sides even though it's very hard to find facts in the Republican rhetoric. I hope that the folks who passed the bill are right and we do become better because of it. I can also only hope that the spin doctors on the right are wrong, wrong, wrong. I just truly believe in my heart that we, as a nation, should take care of each other. If that means I have to pay a bit more so Sally's daughter can get treatment for her cancer, then so be it. I have a soul and a heart and care what happens to Sally and her daughter.
